NOTICE TO FILE

Persons interested in serving on Homer Town Board may file with the Clerk from December 30, 2025 through January 13, 2026 at 5:00 pm. The Clerk’s office will be open from 1pm-5pm on January 13, 2026.

The following positions are up for election:

Supervisor - 3 year term

Town Clerk - 2 year term

Absentee voting will be held from February 6, 2026 - March 9, 2026 at 5:00 pm. The Clerk’s office will be open from 10am-12pm on March 7, 2026. The annual meeting will be held March 10, 2026 at 8:00pm at Homer Town Hall. The polls will be open from 3pm-8pm on March 10, 2026. NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Homer Township, County of Winona, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2026. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election may be postponed until March 17, 2026. If inclement weather also postpones the election and meeting on March 17, 2026 they shall be held on March 24, 2026.

The Election Polls will be open from 3pm to 8pm at which time the voters will elect:

 Supervisor (3 year term)

Town Clerk (2 year term)

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:00 pm to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Election and Meeting will be held at the Homer Town Hall 36087 Homer Road. The Board of Canvass will convene as part of the annual meeting.

Absentee Voting will be held from February 6, 2026 - March 9, 2026 at 5pm. The Clerk’s office will be open from 10am - 12pm on Saturday March 7, 2026. Please contact the Clerk with questions.

The town board of Homer Township, Winona County, Minnesota holds its regularly scheduled meetings on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Homer Town Hall located at 36087 Old Homer Road. If a meeting cannot be held as scheduled because it conflicts with a holiday or another day in which a meeting cannot be held, the meeting will be rescheduled and notice posted of date and time change 4 days before the new meeting date.
